Reoccurence of vesicular stomatitis in USA, April 2012
Vesicular stomatitis virus was diagnosed and confirmed in USA (New Mexico) middle of April 2012 in Horses in the south-west of the country. A foreign animal disease investigation was initiated due to the observed presence of vesicular lesions on two horses. Laboratory samples were submitted to the National Veterinary Services Laboratories (NVSL) for diagnosis.
