What's new on the GIS group of trainees?

The 14 GIS national experts from 10 CARIFORUM countries continued improving their Avian Influenza risk maps through the assessment of risks of introduction and spread. This was done during a 5-days training workshop held in Jamaica, 19-23 June.

Ultimate goal: set-up a risk-based surveillance for AI in their countries to improve the cost-efficiency ratio of surveillance efforts.
