National workshop on Classical Swine Fever in Cuba and the Caribbean. La Havana, Cuba, 22 October 2016

On Saturday October 22 was held in Havana, at the headquarters of Swine Research Institute, a National Workshop intended to Cuban swine farmers to give them feedback on the 6th Swine Diseases Working Group meeting held in Havana August 3-5, 2016. The workshop was intended to leading doctors and directors of pig farms of 7 Cuban provinces with many pig farm doctors.

Managers of the swine Technology Division, Ministry of Agriculture (MINAG) participated. There were about 50 people. Also present were directors of the Animal Health MINAG, CIGB specialists and large participation of CENSA specialists.

During the workshop, the role of CaribVET was explained to the participants, and the key outputs of the joint workshop organized last August and which was dedicated to CSF-ILCT and Meeting of the SDWG were presented and discussed.
