The inter-agencies alliance against ASF (CaribVET being one of these agencies) started organizing since September some trainings for the Caribbean region and Latine America.

After the first webinar with the general presentation of ASF done by Prof Jose-Manuel Sanchez-Vizcaino, we decided to have a series of 4 webinars dedicated to risk analysis. Later on we will prepare other webinars dedicated to ASF prevention, ASF detection, answer to ASF and finally recover after ASF outbreak.

Tomorrow will be the first webinar of this series dedicated to risk analysis with presentation of the fundamentals of risk analysis.

Next week we will have the presentation of Maria-Irian Percedo (from CENSA) and Jordi Casal (CreSA) on the risk assessment tool dedicated to ASF developed by CaribVET.  The two following ones will be dedicated to assessment of biosecurity at farm level and to the presentation of the risk assessment survey done by FAO and the one done by OIRSA.
